- About Me:
- Gamma Like Very Ultra formed in Tucson Arizona early 2006 by founding members Joseph De La Rosa and Josifa De La Rosa (formerly Christine Heinisch until they realized they had the same papa). The duo began as a Found Sound, Electronic Noise and Live instrument collage project. Joe is a bass player, tape noise collage artist, from Tucson Arizona. Josifa (Christine), formerly of the pioneering dark cabaret / chamber punk band apartment aka apartment burlesque orchestra, is an electronic musician, Trumpeter and Keyboardist from Chicago, Illinois. Since its inception, Delarosa and Heinisch have turned their collage work into a live experimental, avant-rock band with nods to their various popular influences. Joella De La Rosa (formerly Guitariella) (apartment), composer / guitarist, long time friend and collaborator joined in late 2007.
