- The type to, crack a six of Heine red star's, load the water pipe with that "Iguana Green" and flip through cable t.v. watchin' cnn, cspan, b.e.t. and free zone On Demand, diversity has always been part of his lifestyle. So, it shouldn't be surprising that he grew up in middleclass America. Even more specific the land of "toostoned", Tucson, Az. Part Wildcat fan, part psychotic genius, to Brody, the art of MCing/rapping is....a no brainer. Infinity and beyond emcee.
Actually under a "nue" moniker now, "Brody Ave"(avenue but, pronounced in it's abbreviation) is the platform or the opportunity that he creates for himself to be heard. To the Tucson Hip Hop scene, it's safe to say that he is a veteran(i.e.: "how're they gonna beat lil o' me, going thru mid-life crisis and, got Napoleon's disease!"). 80's, 90's babie style emcee thats been able to transcend and, not be "pigeonholed" into sounding only like that elemental flow verses the neo swag and style but, a hybrid of both. Has opened for major artist at local showcase venues, performing his own shows (YADI YA, YADI YA...dues payed!) and, having a real sense of Tucson's true Hip Hop History. Brody says "I'm just here to balance out "Tuc Town's" music scene and, show that there's more. Way more".
